Getting the quilt cover on is one of those tasks that takes thirty seconds when everything cooperates, and several frustrated minutes when it doesn't. The insert bunches to one side before you've even finished. The cover twists overnight. The buttons come undone in the wash.
Our quilt covers are designed around fixing all of that, starting with the part nobody else has bothered to solve: keeping the insert exactly where you put it.
The insert migrating inside the cover is one of the most universal and most ignored problems in bedding. It happens because there's nothing holding the insert in place. Ours have built-in Neodymium magnets at each corner that clip directly to the insert, keeping it centred and flush inside the cover whether you're sleeping, washing, or shaking it out. The result is a quilt that looks and feels even from corner to corner. No bunching toward the bottom of the bed overnight, no re-centring the insert every time you change the cover. The magnets are waterproof and fully machine washable. They don't affect the wash cycle and they don't require any special care.
Standard quilt covers use buttons along the base. Buttons come undone in the wash, can dig in if they work their way to the surface, and are fiddly to do up when you're in a hurry. Ours use a concealed zip that sits completely flush along the base hem. It's invisible from the outside, lies flat against the fabric, and stays closed through every wash cycle. Getting the cover on and off takes seconds rather than minutes.
Our quilt and doona covers are made from a bamboo-cotton blend: 60% bamboo, 40% cotton. The cover is the layer your skin is in contact with throughout the night, so the fabric matters beyond just how it looks.
Bamboo-cotton breathes in a way that pure cotton and synthetic covers don't. It wicks moisture and adapts to body temperature rather than trapping heat. In Australian summers that makes a real difference, but it also means the cover works year-round rather than being comfortable for three months and too warm for the rest. Pair it with a lighter insert in summer and a heavier one in winter, and the cover performs across both.
We offer a 90-night sleep trial on all fitted sheet purchases. If the feel, temperature performance, or overall quality isn't noticeably better than what you were sleeping on before, send them back. No questions, no restocking fees.

Nothing, they're the same thing. In Australia, quilt cover and doona cover are used interchangeably, while duvet cover is more common in the UK and Europe. All three refer to the fabric cover that goes over a quilt, doona, or duvet insert. The insert is typically sold separately.
Each corner of the cover has a built-in Neodymium magnet. When you put your insert in, the magnets clip to the corners of the insert and hold it in place. No tying, no fiddling. The insert stays centred overnight and doesn't bunch toward the bottom of the cover. The magnets are waterproof and machine washable, so they don't require any special treatment on wash day.
No. The set includes the quilt cover and matching pillowcases. The quilt insert is sold separately. This is standard across most bedding brands and means you can pair the cover with whichever fill weight suits your climate and sleep preferences. Although for best functionality with our magnetic corners, we do recommend purchasing our Magnetic Quilt Inserts.
Match the cover to your bed size. Our queen cover measures 210 x 210cm, king is 245 x 210cm, and super king is 270 x 240cm. If you want more drape over the sides of the bed, we recommend sizing up, just make sure the quilt insert size matches the cover!
Cold or warm wash (30-40 degrees), gentle cycle, tumble dry low or line dry. The magnetic corners and invisible zip are both machine safe, no need to remove or protect them. Avoid fabric softener as it reduces the breathability of the bamboo-cotton over time. For more information, visit our Care Guide.
