Standard pillowcases use either an open envelope closure or visible buttons. Both leave the pillow partially exposed. The envelope closure gaps; the buttons can dig in, come undone, or catch on your hair.
Our JoeyPouch™ design uses a hidden zip closure that sits completely flush with the fabric — invisible from the outside, smooth against your face, and secure enough that the pillow stays inside regardless of how much movement happens through the night. The zip runs along the bottom hem rather than the side, keeping the front face of the pillowcase completely clean.

Pillowcases are sold in pairs. The fabric and colour are matched to the rest of our bedding range — if you're replacing individual pillowcases within an existing TLC set, they will match precisely.
One of the more common frustrations in bedding is mismatched pillowcases — slightly different white, slightly different weight, different sheen after six months of washing. Our pillowcases are cut from the same fabric as our sheet sets and quilt covers, so they match throughout the life of the product.
If you're buying pillowcases to complement an existing TLC fitted sheet or quilt cover, the colour and finish will be consistent.
Cold or warm wash (30–40°C), gentle cycle. The bamboo-cotton blend softens with washing — do not use fabric softener, which coats the fibre and reduces breathability. Tumble dry low or line dry. The zip closure should be fastened before washing to protect both the zip and your other bedding.
