The fitted sheet has one job. It sounds simple until you're half asleep at 3am re-tucking a corner that's worked itself loose again, or starting your morning by remaking a bed that looked fine when you went to sleep.
At The Lad Collective, the fitted sheet is where we've put the most thought. Because a sheet that doesn't stay put makes everything else on the bed pointless.
Here's something nobody says out loud: most people put their fitted sheet on wrong at least half the time. When all four corners look identical, you're guessing. And if you guess wrong, the sheet is already working against itself before you've even got into bed.
Every fitted sheet in The Lad Collective range has labelled corners, each one marked bottom left, bottom right, top right, and top left. It goes on right the first time, every time. Small thing, genuinely annoying until it's solved.
Most fitted sheets use elastic only at the four corners. That's why they pop off. Ours have elastic running all the way around the hem, combined with a 46cm deep pocket. The sheet grips the entire perimeter of the mattress rather than just the corners, and it holds through the night regardless of how much you move.
For thicker mattresses, whether that's pillow-top, Euro-top, or a topper added on, the 46cm pocket depth accommodates mattresses up to 40cm in profile without the corners lifting.
A fitted sheet takes more wear than any other piece of bedding. It's stretched over the mattress with the elastic under constant tension, and it's typically the piece that gets washed most frequently. The fabric needs to hold up to that without losing its shape or softness over time.
Synthetic fitted sheets, microfibre in particular, tend to degrade quickly under this kind of repeated use. They pill, lose their stretch, and start to feel thin. Our fitted sheets are made from a bamboo-cotton blend: cotton provides the durability and structure to hold their shape wash after wash, while bamboo adds natural breathability and a softness that improves rather than deteriorates over time.
Over 200,000 customers have bought from The Lad Collective. The feedback that comes back most often is the same: the sheets get noticeably softer over the first six months rather than wearing out.
Available in Single, King Single, Double, Queen, King, Split King, and Super King. Each size is cut generously with deep pockets that work with both standard mattress profiles and those with toppers or pillow-top additions.
We offer a 90-night sleep trial on all fitted sheet purchases. If the feel, temperature performance, or overall quality isn't noticeably better than what you were sleeping on before, send them back. No questions, no restocking fees.

Almost always one of two reasons: the elastic only runs around the four corners rather than the full hem, or the pocket isn't deep enough for your mattress. Our fitted sheets have elastic all the way around and a 46cm deep pocket, which is what keeps them locked to the mattress through the night rather than riding up by morning.
It refers to how deep the fabric pocket is on each corner, which determines the maximum mattress thickness the sheet can fit. Standard fitted sheets typically run 30-35cm. Ours are 46cm, which means they fit most mattresses comfortably including those with toppers, Euro-tops, or pillow-top additions up to 40cm in depth.
Match the fitted sheet size to your mattress size. Unlike flat sheets where sizing up gives you more drape, fitted sheets are designed to fit the specific mattress dimensions they're made for. We offer Single, King Single, Double, Queen, King, Split King, and Super King. For more information on sizing, visit our Size Guide.
A Split King is two Single mattresses placed side by side, typically used with an adjustable base so two sleepers can set their own positions independently. A Split King fitted sheet is sized to fit one of those singles, so you'd need two. If you have a Split King setup, select Split King from the size options and add two to your cart.
Cold or warm wash (30-40 degrees), gentle cycle, tumble dry low or line dry. Skip the fabric softener. It coats the bamboo fibre and reduces breathability over time. The sheets soften on their own with regular washing. For more information, visit our Care Guide.
